Who we are

About Us

Travelers, bloggers, tourism enthusiasts - and the team behind TRP8.

Our story

From Reisefanten to TRP8

TRP8 grew from real travel experiences: moments where excellent tours were limited by language barriers. That is exactly what shaped our goal to make tour experiences clearer and more accessible for international guests.

The origin

Founded by travelers - for travelers and providers

TRP8 is not a product created in a conference room. It is the result of more than ten years of travel experience, hundreds of tours, and a recurring frustration we could not ignore.

Since 2014, we have run the travel blog reisefanten.de and visited cities, museums, nature parks, and landmarks around the world. Tours were always central to that journey: they add context, depth, and turn visits into real experiences.

But we also experienced the downside. Guides doing their best in English with accents hard to understand. Groups where half the guests do not speak English and silently follow along. Moments where a beautiful place is explained, but most people in the room still do not know what was said.

That is unfortunate for guests who paid for an experience and only take a fraction of it with them. And for providers who care deeply, but are held back by language barriers that can actually be solved.

So we built TRP8: a platform that requires no technical skills, runs directly on the guest's smartphone, and is ready in minutes. So every guest - no matter where they come from - can experience a tour in their own language.
